Hey all,

I started working out about a month ago. Don’t have any prior experience in the gym. I started out at around 35-40lbs doing my leg extensions. After a month I was able to hit 60lbs.

However, I notice whenever I do this exercise that my legs shake. I remember hearing from a friend that that’s supposedly good, though I’m not exactly sure about that. Going back down to 40lbs today, I don’t shake (or at least, it’s so tiny I don’t notice).

Is this normal? Or am I overshooting?

When you say shake, are you able to do the full range of motion at the 40lbs?

I think your okay dude, my legs shake when doing that exercise too. As long as you are doing full range of motion your good in my opinion.
